The Progress screen will keep you informed as the Model Documentation tool processes the XML

ﬁle and constructs the PDF report.

The Progress screen will automatically refresh its information every ten (10) seconds.

IMPORTANT: The “Parsing XML File” and “Building PDF File” steps will take the longest to

complete. While it may appear that the Model Documentation Tool is not actually doing anything

(e.g., it remains on the “Parsing XML File” step with a “0% Complete” progress message for a

while), please be patient.

The complexity of the model (and its XML ﬁle) will dictate how long the PDF generation process

takes; more complex models will take considerably longer to process than simple models.

RMS will alert you if an error occurs during PDF generation. At that point, you can view the error

(which probably won’t mean much to you), or you can collect all system logs and reports with a

single click in order to send them to ASTi for examination.
